The Contractor shall: i. Provide eight (8), twenty-five cubic yard (25 yd3) dewatering roll-off containers, intended for use in an industrial wastewater dewatering application. Dewatering containers shall: a. Receive vacuum trucks and pumper trucks, with and without dump bodies. b. Dewater unprocessed wastewater to meet the most current County landfill requirements for Special Wastes which may include but not be limited to: • The material shall not contain free liquids when it arrives at the County landfill. Loads may be visually inspected by County Solid Waste staff and may be required to pass the Paint Filter Liquids Test (refer to Environmental Protection Agency [EPA] Hazardous Waste TEST Method SW-846) prior to acceptance. • The material must be stabilized with lime prior to arriving at the landfill so that the pH is raised to a 12 or higher for one (1) hour to kill pathogens. • Rejection of loads is at the sole discretion of the County. c. Be capable of being mobilized/established at any county site that has a sewer connection. d. Be flexible to accommodate day-to-day and seasonal variations in the volume and physical consistency/composition of the sludge. e. Be capable of collecting and/or processing a minimum of 15,000 gallons per day and be scalable to up to 120,000 gallons per day. • Current site averages 30,000 to 60,000 gallons per day. ii. Roll-off truck(s), capable of picking up, hauling dewatering containers and disposing of the dewatered drying bed debris at the County landfill, located at 4000 Knights Trail Road, Nokomis, FL 34275. a. All trips to the County landfill must be coordinated in advance. b. Any changes to the disposal site or rejected load shall be communicated to the County within one (1) business day. c.
