Janitorial Service Requirements: The contractor shall perform the tasks listed below at the frequency specified in order to keep all surfaces clean and free of dust, cobwebs, spots, spills, scuffs, other debris, etc. 2.3.1 TWO TIMES PER WEEK: The contractor shall perform the following tasks between Monday through Friday: a. Thoroughly vacuum all entrance mats. b. Thoroughly sweep all hard surfaces including, but not limited to, floors, and landings using brooms or dust mops. c. During periods of inclement weather, use a carpet extractor or wet/dry vacuum to remove moisture from entrance matting as needed or request by the MONG. d. During periods of inclement weather such as snow, machine scrub all hard surface floors, and remove sand, soot, and salts from the building(s) vestibules. e. Clean and disinfect all tables and countertops in all kitchens and break rooms. f. Clean, disinfect, and removed mineral deposit on all drinking fountains and sinks. g. Spot clean all doors and frames. h. Empty all waste/trash containers. i. Spot clean all carpet as spots appear. j. Remove all trash and sweep sidewalks for ten feet (10’) from all entrances/exits of the building(s). k. Secure all doors as requested by the MONG. l. Clean janitorial closets after completion of the daily tasks and before exiting the building(s). m. Using a damp treated cloth, wipe all flat surfaces including, but not limited to, file cabinets, conference tables and stands, bookshelves, coat racks, windowsills, handrails, tops of partitions, etc. n.
