Mecklenburg County is considering replacing its current call center solution with a modern, cloud-based solution. The County’s current solution is used by 25 call centers, across 9 departments. These call centers serve the public for various services, including but not limited to: Real Estate Appraisal and Assessment Child Protective Services Services for Adults Adult Transportation Adult Protective Services Economic Services Child Support Enforcement Clinical Services Scheduling for the Health Department Information Technology Support Service Desk Code enforcement for permits and inspections GIS services Tax Collections Facility Reservations and General Information for Park facilities and services Funding has not been encumbered for this initiative yet. That may be done after the County has a better idea of the products and services required to meet the County’s objectives.
