The selected firm(s) shall provide design plans and specifications, field assessments, and general consulting services, submit construction documents to the required Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), gain plan approval and all required permits, and be available for on-call construction administration, for the following areas of focus, but not necessarily be limited to: A. Tenant improvements and new fire and forestry response buildings. B. Civil Site work as necessary to facilitate any architectural improvements required in the scope of work. C. Building mechanical including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, chillers, and boilers. D. Primary and secondary electrical distribution upgrades. E. Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) and emergency power systems. F. Facility power site assessments. G. Building electrical (e.g., lighting, power systems, HVAC controls). H. Photovoltaic systems, including off grid. I. Structural design including renovations and new structures. J. Retaining walls. K. Cost estimating. L. Fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems. M. Regulatory consultation. N. Proposed project review with code analysis for project scoping and planning. O. Certified Access Specialist (CASp) Inspections and Report. P. All design work shall be performed and approved by a registered architect licensed in the State of California. Consultant type work will require participation of multiple professional disciplines such as, but not limited to, architectural, electrical, mechanical, transportation (vehicle and aircraft), site civil, survey, structural, geological, geotechnical, and fire suppression
