Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is a design-bid-build construction contract to reconstruct the Reisterstown Plaza East Interlocking and adjacent sections of the mainline tracks near the Reisterstown Plaza Station on the Baltimore Metro System. The work for the construction area is located in the City of Baltimore. The project will be completed in two phases and involves the demolition, removal or disposal of existing standard direct fixation track, direct fixation special trackwork and rail expansion joints on concrete block plinths supported by direct fixation fasteners and rubber support pads which are supported by the concrete base slab of an aerial structure. Work will include steel and iron special trackwork, running rails, guard rails, direct fixation fasteners and support pad assemblies within the limits indicated on the Contract Drawings.
