Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of Planning & Sustainable Development (OPSD) is accepting applications for services to implement OPSD’s community engagement strategy for the Hawaiʻi Economic Recovery & Resilience (HIERR) Project; Specifically, the HIERR Project is organized around three objectives: 1. Economic Vulnerabilities. Identify strategies to address economic vulnerabilities that were exacerbated by recent disaster events, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic and Hawai‘i Wildfires, in a way that aligns with the visions and values shared by Hawai‘i’s residents. 2. Economic Hardships. Identify projects and resources to address economic hardships experienced by Hawai‘i’s residents and businesses during recent disaster events, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic and Hawai‘i Wildfires. 3. Economic Disaster Recovery Support & Resilience. Support post-disaster recovery planning for the Hawai‘i Wildfires while building State capacity to better identify, analyze, and plan for economic impacts caused by future disasters.
