1. Install an on-site septic system per the approved septic design provided by Environmental Systems dated 7/10/24. Contractor shall ensure a complete and functional system. 2. The contractor shall have the existing septic tank pumped and crushed or filled. Contractor shall assume existing tanks holds up to 3,500 gallons. Contractor shall complete tank abandonment form and submit a copy to the Project Coordinator. 3. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining a Pine County septic permit and coordinating required inspections. 4. Contractor shall be responsible for contacting the Pine County inspector to schedule inspection of scratch, tanks, rock bed and final cover. 5. Additionally, contractor must give the I.H.S. Engineer and Carla Dunkley, Project Manager, a minimum of 48 hour notice before starting the installation to schedule project site visits to see scratch, tanks and rock bed before covering. 6. Contractor shall provide an As-Built System drawing for submission to MLBO. 7. Contractor will not receive final payment until Pine County has completed a successful final inspection and issued a Certificate of Compliance; and Owner has been supplied with full lien waivers for all subcontractors and suppliers. 8. Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of existing mound materials per design and disposing of them off-site. Contractor shall re responsible for replacing all existing sand. Please disregard the note in the design allowing existing sand to remain if it passes a jar test. 9. Contractor shall include the cost of removing and disposal of all existing materials; and supply and install of all new materials, including be not limited to cover materials, topsoil, sand, rock, fabric and piping. 10. Contractor shall be responsible for pumping tanks for the duration of project, including the period of drying once the old mound materials are removed.
