The Modular Aluminum Trench Box and Equipment specified herein, shall be new, unused, and of current manufacture year. Seller shall supply written certification as attested to by a Registered Professional Engineer and stamped tabulated data showing safe working depths must be included.; Pro-Tec Equipment MOD Series Modular Aluminum Trench Box or acceptable equivalent for excavation safety. All equipment provided must meet OSHA regulations. To include: 1.32 – 2’ x 8’ Modular Aluminum Panels, 2.Eight (8) – 8’ 2-Way Corners, 3.Two (2) Sets – 4 Stacking Brackets with Pins and Keepers, 4.Two (2) Sets – 4 24” Adjustable Legs with Pins and Keepers; 1.Panel height: 8 feet 2.Panel length: 2 feet 3.Panel sidewalls shall be 2-3/4” wide, tongue and grooved for self-alignment. 4.Approximate weight: 120 pounds per 2’ x 8’ panel 5.Material: Lightweight aluminum 6.Panels shall be foam filled to prevent debris from entering any compartments within panel extrusion. 7.Panels shall have a minimum of certification in C-60 soils with 36” vertical pipe clearance of 21’ and shall be certified to working depths allowing for various job conditions.; 1.Spreaders shall have a threaded rod for manual adjustment or an adjustable, telescoping style. 2.Two-way corner connectors shall accommodate either struts or panels without additional parts. 3.Corner posts must be male and female panels. 4.Corner post must be enclosed where panels/spreaders connect to minimize corner post damage.
