• Remove the existing PLC and HMI from the Gate Control Enclosure while retaining the existing control enclosure, backpanel, field wiring and field wiring terminals. • Remove 480 VAC components such as conductors, fusing, circuit breakers, control power transformer, and motor starters from within the existing Gate Control Enclosure. • Procure and install a new HMI graphic terminal in the Gate Control Enclosure swing panel. • Procure and install new PLC hardware and associated components on the existing Gate Control Enclosure backpanel. • Install new wiring from the PLC IO cards to field wiring terminals and panel devices. (Field wiring will not be modified as part of this project.) • Perform minor wiring modifications to the Gate Control Enclosure at the Auxiliary Outlet Works as noted on the design drawings. • Procure, fabricate and install a new 480 VAC Power Panel adjacent to the Gate Control Enclosure. Modify the existing channel strut rack to support the new 480 VAC Power Panel. • Install control wiring between the 480 VAC Power Panel and the Gate Control Enclosure. • Re-terminate Add-A-Phase control interface wiring into the 480 VAC Power Panel. • Install a new 120 VAC branch circuit from the existing lighting panel to the Gate Control Enclosure.
