The work consists principally of providing bonds, plant, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the Lower Harbor Berth Deepening in Mobile, Alabama. The scope of work performed will include dredging to a new guaranteed depth of -50 feet (-54 with maintenance and allowable overdredge). The location of this work is at the Alabama State Port Authority (ASPA), McDuffie Terminal, APM Terminal, and Pinto Terminal. All dredging will be performed, confirmed, and paid as per high frequency hydrographic surveying, west zone NAD 83 at MLLW. This work will consist of dredging approximately 340,000 cubic yards of material at 12,000 cubic yards per day. This specific volume of material is not a guarantee of the amount of contractual work; this is only a basis for bid evaluation and shall include any combination of lower harbor terminals (McDuffie Terminal, APM Terminal, and Pinto Terminal).
