The New Mexico Human Services Department wishes to enter into a multi-vendor Statewide Price Agreement for the distribution of food during a specified event. The intent of the Price Agreement is to allow multiple state agencies to reimburse the participating Food Banks for administrative costs of distributing food and water during disaster and emergency declaration or, situations of distress, through the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) ESF6 operations. It also allows state agencies to respond to critical emergent situations that prevent, control or minimize imminent health danger to public and or vulnerable populations. State agencies will be allowed to utilize this Price Agreement in the event of loss of food supply chain or emergency hunger issue at a designated feeding site.
