MOISTURE MITIGATION: Must be installed according to manufacturers’ specifications for warranty purposes and certification provided. EXAMINATION Substrates: Ensure that surfaces, are level, and reasonably flat to within 1/8-inch in 10 feet. Ensure that surfaces are dry per the manufacturer's recommendations PREPARATION Ensure that areas to receive resilient flooring are well lit during applications. Leveling: Remove sub-floor ridges and bumps. Fill low spots, cracks, joints, holes and other defects with sub-floor filler. Clean floor and apply, trowel and float filler coat to leave smooth, hard, flat surface. Prohibit traffic until filler is cured. INSTALLATION Scribe flooring to stringers, risers, and other appurtenances and protrusions to produce tight joints. PROTECTION Prohibit wheel mounted equipment traffic on finished installation. Lay at least one layer of construction paper down. Maintain this coverage until time for final inspection by Owner.
