Grant ES Multiple Projects The scope of the Grant ES Multiple Projects will include the construction of three separate projects over the course of about 20 months. The three projects are: 1. Early Childhood Renovation: Renovation of an approximately 4000 sf existing 1 story Type V classroom building (Building A) and associated outdoor play yard. Renovation includes a structural upgrade including new plywood shear wall panels, demolition of existing interior partitions and construction of new rooms including restrooms, workrooms, storage rooms, and 3 new Pre-K and TK classrooms with new plumbing fixtures, casework, interior finishes, exterior glazed bifold doors and storefront system, lighting and AV/IT equipment. The play yard includes new fencing, paving, and landscaped areas. Additionally, there are approximately 300 SF of offsite improvements to the adjacent sidewalk. 2. Library Renovation and Historic Courtyard Renovation: Renovation of an approximately 5,500 sf existing 1 story Type V building (Building F/G) and 250 sf addition to provide upgrades to the campus library. The renovation includes a structural upgrade, demolition of existing interior partitions, construction of new interior partitions, new casework, interior finishes, exterior glazed bifold doors and storefront system, lighting and AV/IT equipment. 16,000 sf of site work yard includes new fencing, paving, concrete seat walls, and landscaped areas. 3. New Classroom Building: The Grant ES Classroom Building Project consists of the demolition of 7 modular buildings, construction of a new classroom building and construction of a new playground area. The new classroom building is approximately 11,000 SF including 6 Classrooms, attached workrooms, outdoor classroom areas, rooftop garden and support spaces
