1) Valves shall be Non-Rising Stem type with standard 2-inch operating nut. 2) Valve shall be a true resilient wedge gate valve, wedge coated in EPDM rubber, with new valve seat that is part of the new valve body. 3) Valve stems shall be bronze, or 304 or 316 stainless steel. 4) Shall meet AWWA C515-15 gate valve standards. The valve stem and thrust washers should meet AWWA C515 standards. 5) Valves bodies shall be made of ductile iron that meets ASTM A536. 6) Valve body and components shall have a minimum 10 mil of fusion bonded epoxy coating conforming to AWWA/ANSI C550. 7) Working operating pressure rating of 250 psi. 8) ANSI/NSF 61 & 372 certified for use as drinking water system components 9) Bury depth/height to top of operating nut shall approximately meet AWWA C500. 10) All bolting shall be type 316 stainless steel and shall meet physical strength of ASTM F593-2 and have dimensions that meet ANSI B18.2.1 11) All nuts shall be type 316 stainless steel and shall meet physical strength of ASTM F594-2 and have dimensions that meet ANSI B18.2.1 12) Bonnet and all moving parts shall be removable, repairable, or replaceable under pressure
