In response to the D.S. Settlement, Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is expanding implementation of the Mockingbird Family Hub-Home Model statewide and establishing at least one Enhanced Hub per DCYF region. This contract allows for up to three Child Placing Agencies to become a Host Agency and provide the Mockingbird Model. Enhanced Constellations will consist of one Hub home and 6-10 satellite homes, who receive support from the Hub. Enhanced Hub Home parents will have experience caring for young people who currently or previously qualified for Wraparound with Intensive Services (WiSE) or Behavior Rehabilitation Services (BRS). Placement in an Enhanced Hub Constellation will provide young people normalizing experiences, adequate supports and services promoting permanency.
