The County intends to enter into a contract with a qualified contractor or contractors to provide all necessary personnel, management, and supervision to conduct an Occupational Employee Medical Services and Bloodborne Pathogens & Infectious Disease Control program. The County is highly committed to providing a comprehensive occupational medical program. This includes, but is not limited to, mandated occupational health services; work-related medical assessments; Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) program; Employee Assistance Program (EAP) voluntary and mandatory referral, Department of Transportation (DOT) mental health assessments; employee disability assessment and management functions; behavioral health assessments, outreach, education, and training; bloodborne pathogens and other infectious disease control services; and random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, or return-to-duty drug and/or alcohol tests.
