Traffic Signal Design; Consultant’s work tasks may include various traffic signal engineering tasks, including but not limited to the following: a. Design of new or replacement traffic signal systems; b. Design of revisions to existing traffic signals, such as adding Flashing Yellow Arrow (FYA) and/or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance upgrades; c. Design of traffic signal interconnect systems such as fiber optic or wireless. d. Updates to signal design files to reflect field changes already constructed; e. Accessible pedestrian ramp design, including pedestrian pushbutton stations. f. Intersection Control Evaluations and Signal Justification Reports/Letters; g. State Aid plan submittal and revisions per State Aid comments; h. Construction specifications
