Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from consulting engineering firms for the design of a valve exercise program in conjunction with planning for unidirectional flushing throughout the water distribution area. The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) was formed in 2008 and provides water and sewer services to approximately 200,000 water customers. The project will generally consist of developing and implementing a valve exercise program and providing a design and schedule for unidirectional flushing throughout the water distribution system. GIS, as-builts and water modeling data with valve size, type and age may be provided by CFPUA if available to assist with the design efforts.
