• Provide labor, services, materials, equipment, and tools necessary for installation of 25 LF of 14’ high sliding security gate and all associated equipment and infrastructure. • Install temporary orange safety cones and/or fencing around perimeter of work area. Contractor to maintain secure project perimeter throughout the duration of the project. • Contractor to field verify dimensions of existing conditions. • Remove and dispose of all existing gate materials that are no longer needed. • Existing temporary fence to remain in place during construction. • Contractor to verify on-site that all existing infrastructure to re-use will be fully compatible with structure of and operation of the new gate. • Security scope of work will be reviewed at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Contractor to include a $20,000 allowance in the base bid price to cover all required security work. • Install new 14’ high sliding security gate and all associated equipment and infrastructure in the location of the original gate. • Tie existing chain-link security fence and razor wire to new gate. Fastening method to be stretcher bar and bands to match existing. • Ensure all horizontal framing members are installed on the outside of the gate. • Contractor shall provide gate controls in NEMA 4X Stainless Steel enclosure. • All work shall be completed as detailed in the contract, drawings, and pre-bid meeting upon receipt of a notice to proceed document. • Contract bid shall be on a lump sum (total price) basis. • The contract may become null and void if the work is not performed within agreed upon dates. • Contractor shall be responsible for removal of all equipment, debris, and trash from site at project construction completion. • All work included in this contract shall be completed within sixty (30) calendar days of the notice to proceed.
