The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is requesting bids for the following items: 1.1. Two (2) Compartment Shallow Ovenable Food Trays to be used to package meals for up to eight (8) different facilities located in San Diego County. 1.2. Two (2) Compartment Deep Ovenable Food Trays to be used to package meals for up to eight (8) different facilities located in San Diego County. 1.3. One (1) Compartment Ovenable Food Tray to be used to package meals for up to eight (8) different facilities located in San Diego County. 1.4. One (1) Compartment Cold Food Tray to be used to package meals for up to eight (8) different facilities located in San Diego County. 1.5. Five (5) Compartment Food Trays to be used to package meals for up to eight (8) different facilities located in the San Diego county. 1.6. Lidding Film, Refrigeration type (LR) to be used to seal the One (1) Compartment Cold Food Tray. 1.7. Lidding Film, Ovenable/Microwavable (LO) to be used to seal the Two (2) Compartment (Shallow & Deep) Ovenable Food Trays and One (1) Compartment Ovenable/Microwavable Food Tray. The contract shall be a blanket purchase agreement for one initial year and three optional years. . Item Two (2) Compartment Shallow Ovenable Food Trays: 2.1.1. No lids shall be required. 2.1.2. The Trays shall be constructed of molded pulp with laminate. 2.1.3. The trays shall have rounded corners. 2.1.4. The trays shall be biodegradable and compostable. 2.1.5. The minimum dimensions shall be 8.5" x 6.25" x 1.5" sealing flange. 2.1.6. Tray depth Standard 1.5”. 2.1.7. The largest compartment shall be able to hold a minimum of 17 ounces. 2.1.8. The smallest compartment shall be able to hold a minimum of 8 ounces. 2.1.9. The trays shall be able to withstand oven temperatures of 400 degrees Fahrenheit / 40 minutes. 2.1.10.
