capacity upgrades to the East Street Pump Station (ESPS) in support of the City of New Haven’s Long Term Control Plan. A comprehensive upgrade of both the Inlet Works and Operations Building is included in the Work. The Work in the Inlet Works shall include concrete repair and protective coating, replacement of all existing gates, mechanical bar screens with washer-compactors, replacement of screenings conveyors and separation of the grit and screenings. New grit collection equipment, conveyance system and grit washers will be installed and grit blowers will be replaced. The Work in the Operations Building shall include concrete repair and protective coating, replacement of all gates, and replacement of pumps along with all support and ancillary systems (piping, valves, VFDs, controls). New second floor additions are included at both the Inlet Works and Operations Building for electrical and control equipment. Odor Control systems will also be replaced at both locations.
