Task 1. Project Management and Site Investigation/Coordination: Provide overall project oversight, workload planning, and coordination with M1W. Facilitate and attend an initial project design site meeting, and, if requested, facilitate regularly scheduled project meetings with M1W (typically, but not exclusively via MS Teams or zoom) to review progress and resolve problems as they occur. Upon explicit direction from M1W, the selected consultant may be responsible for preparing agendas and documenting discussion. Proposals shall document the assumed number, length, and frequency of meetings included in the scope and budget. This task shall include quality assurance/control requirements, internal meetings and phone calls, preparation of monthly status/progress reports and invoicing (more frequent schedule and budget status information shall be provided at M1W discretion), participation and facilitation of meetings with M1W, and other agency staff, consultants and stakeholders, as necessary to effectively achieve the objectives of this RFP. Task 2. Plans and Specifications: The Consultant shall develop the following: 2.1. Sixty Percent (60%) Design Package: The 60% level of completion submittal shall include plans, specifications, engineer’s estimate of probable construction cost, project schedule for all project components, applicable permits and easements, and all other required documents. M1W has contracted with a survey and geotechnical entity to provide the engineering design team with technical information about the existing site to prepare the design (see relevant scopes of work in Attachment “3.”) Deliverables: This task includes Submittal of pdf file of the 60% design (full scale and 11”X17” compatible) and a draft technical memo summarizing the Basis of Design and Design criteria, incorporating findings of the separately contracted land survey and geotechnical study as applicable. 2.2. One hundred percent (100%) and Issued for Bid Design Package: The 100% submittal package shall include updates to 60% design documents to incorporate comments received from M1W and others on the 60% submittal package. Deliverables: This task includes Submittal of pdf file of each, the 100% design (full scale and 11”X17” compatible) and “Issued for Bid” Plans and Specifications, including summarizing relevant design criteria, and recommendations from the land survey and geotechnical study. Task 3: Bid Phase Services: Assist M1W in preparing for a pre-bid conference and be available to answer bidder’s questions, and to prepare addenda and conformed project plans and technical specifications as required.
