Under the general direction of the History Colorado Director of Facilities, Security Manager and the Director of the El Pueblo Museum, History Colorado is seeking vendor(s) to provide the following at the El Pueblo History Museum: At a minimum, overnight guard service 3 days a week and event security as needed. Security guard service during Hands on History camp programs which run from 8am-4pm. 5 days a week during scheduled periods and other educational services or events that will be offered at the museum. Additionally, History Colorado is seeking vendor(s) to provide mobile patrols 7 days a week. History Colorado requires the ability to request additional guards as needed at any time with an agreed upon timeframe (ie. 48 hours). Guard services cover a broad range of responsibilities that include protection of History Colorado’s collections, safety of visitors and staff, and security of the El Pueblo Museum building and grounds including regular exterior site walks. Guard services will generally be limited to one guard on site at any given time, but History Colorado reserves the right to request additional security as needed for special events, again within an agreed upon timeframe.
