A visual inspection for bed bugs will be conducted by the IPM Pest Control contractor during scheduled visits. Inspections will be according to a schedule agreed upon by WHA and the contractor, but should be at minimum, monthly. If a live bed bug infestation is discovered, the IPM contractor will notify Property Manager. The Property Manager will coordinate with Bedbug Treatment Contractor to schedule bedbug initial inspections and remediation as soon as possible. The Bedbug Treatment Contractor will inspect neighboring units to identify the severity of infestation. The inspection should cover the “infested unit” plus the units above, below, across the hall, and to the left and right. This inspection should be conducted within one business day of initial infestation discovery. The Bedbug Treatment Contractor will provide preparation measures and time of treatment to resident and property manager. Bedbug Treatment Contractor will follow‐up treated unit during regularly‐ scheduled inspections after treatment, as necessary to effectively eradicate the infestation.
