Primary tasks under the ensuing contract are conducting relevant training courses including the ones that RTAP supports/sponsors (may include events organized by other divisions within Transit, MnDOT, the State, or stakeholders), administering a training/professional development scholarship program and maintaining the existing program website. Secondary tasks are conducting an annual needs assessment to guide future curricula, developing new training materials as needed, periodically contacting the transit agencies for training needs as a follow up/reminder for training refreshers, maintaining the training data and statistics, advertise the upcoming trainings to other agencies when the participants are lesser than the maximum allowed. Contractor provided training will be scheduled through consultation with MnDOT and stakeholders and will occur at various locations around the state to accommodate stakeholders. The trainings may be in person or through multi-media.
