Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Napa, a California charter city (“City”), will accept bids from qualified suppliers (a “bidder” or “bidders”) to provide the City with hot mix asphalt (HMA), aggregate base, sand, drain rock, cold patch, and various types of asphalt and aggregate materials on an as-needed basis, as determined by City. The Goods are generally described as follows: hot mix asphalt (HMA), aggregate base, sand, drain rock, cold patch, and various types of asphalt and aggregate materials as specified; The materials will be tested by City staff in accordance with the procedures set forth below to determine compliance with the City’s Standard Specifications, at time of construction. If the test results indicate that the delivered materials do not meet the City’s Standard Specifications, upon request by the City, the Supplier shall correct or replace the defective materials at Supplier’s expense within a reasonable time, as determined by the City.
