A. The work in this contract comprises of supplying and installing new heavy gauge copper cooling coils (Note: Minimum tube wall thickness shall be .017”, not to exceed .022”) in the listed HVAC units at the MCC. The vendor shall provide all tools and equipment to perform the installation of appropriately sized cooling coils in each specified HVAC unit. All work associated with the installation shall be performed by the vendor including, but not limited to, pipe fitting, plumbing, sheet metal and fabrication. The bid shall include any crane/rigging services to properly locate the materials for installation at the MCC. The bid shall include any modifications/preparations in the penthouse areas for the installation. This work will also include placing the old coils on the ground in an area specified by the MCC. Low voltage work will be performed by owner. All work shall be complete by April 1, 2025. B. Coordination of all work performed with MCC Project Manager. C. Required permits for Crane use and work performed shall be obtained by the successful bidder. D. Vendor shall perform all necessary connections to existing MCC equipment. E. Start and test unit for proper operation. F. Report any findings or deficiencies to client. G. Complete clean up by contractor after work complete. H. HVAC units covered in this scope are: Phase 1 AHU’s: #1 Coil #3 Coil #5 Coil #6 Coil #7 Coil #8 Coil Note: There are two (2) coils per unit for a total of twelve (12) coils in the project scope.
