1. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers’ primary responsibilities are associated with duties performed outside the buildings on the campus grounds and in parking lots. 2. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers shall act as a visible deterrent to criminal acts. 3. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers shall perform foot patrol of the campus and parking lots, addressing general security needs including: property loss prevention resulting from theft, vandalism, fire or other causes. 4. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers shall devote particular attention to preventing such loss as pertains to vehicles parked on campus. 5. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers shall monitor, identify and report parking violations. 6. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers shall approach individuals found on the campus and in the parking lots. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers shall identify or attempt to identify those individuals. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers shall determine or attempt to determine the individual’s purpose for being present on the campus. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers shall then take appropriate measures when dealing with those individuals. 7. The Contract Uniformed Security Officers shall be of assistance to those visitors on campus for legitimate purposes.
