• Services at the site are to begin no later than 7:30 am and must conclude by 5:00 pm each day. Services will be provided by the Contractor Monday through Saturday until completion of agreed upon work. • The specific rate for the debris currently on-site, material collected during grinding and mobilization costs is as quoted under the Fees sections. • An equipment list is to be supplied and included in the Equipment section. • The Contractor shall bear all costs of maintenance, wear, damages, and comprehensive insurance on equipment. • Contractor shall provide the necessary equipment and operator(s) to create windrows of ground debris. Windrows will be established with a minimum of eight (8) feet between rows to allow for equipment operation between rows. • Gaston County will provide weight for all debris collected after Contractor has submitted a quote and for all material collected while grinding services are being provided. This weight will be used to determine cost of grinding in addition to the material currently on-site. • Contractor should grind debris to produce a product at 95% 2-2 ½ minus sized for best quality of mulch. Contractor shall begin services within three weeks of notification and work on site shall not exceed thirty (30) working days. • Contractor is to make determination as to site condition and is to assume all risk and responsibility to complete the work in and under the conditions encountered or created without extra cost to the County. • The term of the contract will be for three years, with a minimum of two grinds per year agreed upon work not to exceed (30) working days per event.
