The purpose for this project is to provide office space for Durham Tech’s Media Services Department. Classroom 115 will be converted into 4 offices and a lobby area. Classroom 115 consists of a total 672 SF. PROJECT SCOPE: A. FRAMING 1. Frame new walls using metal studsto provide (4) individual offices and (1) storage room (See plan General Notes) 2. Add sound batting in connecting office walls and above ceiling; B. ELECTRICAL 1. All offices are to be individually wired for light switches(Sensors to match existing) 2. Add (1) new LED fixture and switch for storage room (see Ceiling Plan) 3. Add (1) new 2 x 4 LED troffer Fixture room 115 (see Ceiling Plan) 4. Replace all existing light fixtures with new 2 x 4 LED Troffer Fixtures; C. MECHANICAL 1. Add new sprinkler heads (2) rooms 115A, 115C, (see Ceiling Plan) 2. Add (1) new HVAC return room 115 (see Ceiling Plan) 3. Add (2) new HVAC supply room 115 & 115D (see Ceiling Plan) 4. Add (2) new sprinkler heads rooms 115A, 115C, (see Ceiling Plan) Design Build by Contractor 5. Clean all existing HVAC Diffusers; D. CEILING 1. Remove existing Acoustical ceiling tile (tile only) 2. Install new Acoustical ceiling tile E. DEMO 1. Remove existing VCT throughout 115. 2. Remove existing 16’ White Board and dispose of 3. Remove existing wall base
