● Integration of Cityworks Asset Management software with PublicStuff resident request management software ○ The City of Asheville is seeking a pre-built integration connector compatible with both Cityworks and PublicStuff, both provided as software as a service. When a resident submits a service request via PublicStuff (e.g. water leak), that service request creates a corresponding service request in Cityworks. When a City of Asheville employee updates the service request in Cityworks, that update will be passed back to the corresponding service request in PublicStuff. Bidirectional updates should continue until the work order is closed in Cityworks which would then update the service request status in PublicStuff as “Completed”. The bidirectional integration should include comments that are included as part of the PublicStuff service request. Platform should self-correct following outages, meaning it should watch both sides of the connection and be able to recover from either side going down for a period of time. If there is an issue that requires one of the vendors (Accela/Cityworks) to take action, the integration platform should notify the City. Custom-built solutions are not preferred; instead, we are looking for an existing, proven connector. Interested vendors are encouraged to provide details about their prebuilt solution, including timelines, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
