create an interactive digital bird song display that will be used to educate and entertain the public at events such as the Minnesota State Fair and trade shows. The display will consist of a digital monitor that features an existing illustration of Minnesota’s songbirds. Using either a touchscreen or physical buttons, the public will be able to select an individual bird on the display to hear that bird’s unique song. The display will also feature a sidebar that offers additional information about each bird as well as info about the DNR’s MCV magazine, which created the original birdsong illustration and accompanying web page. The DNR will provide all art/illustrative elements as well as bird audio and supplemental text. Ideally, the contractor will retrofit the bird song display to an existing cabinet provided by the DNR. The existing cabinet is 34” tall, with a graphic panel that’s 36” wide and 18” tall.
