TASK 1: Design • The selected consultant shall provide project design services throughout the execution of the project which shall include, at a minimum: o Coordinate field investigations o Monthly progress tracking reports o Project schedule maintenance and control o Coordinate meetings with the District in regards to selection of mains to be completed this phase and method of replacement including timing, shut downs, and connections o Complete drawings for main replacements to be completed in this phase addressing the most critical mains requiring replacement following damage sustained during the Camp Fire or upsizing made necessary due to codes and standards requirements for reconstruction of residences following the Camp Fire which must meet current codes for fire sprinkler systems supported by the water distribution system capacity to provide water for those systems. o Bid documents including drawings and specifications o Review and issue RFP for construction o Conduct pre-bid meetings with potential bidders o Review pre-bid questions, and issue necessary clarification and interpretation of the contract documents o Issue any necessary addendum to the bid package o Collect bids o Evaluate bids along with District staff o Present bids to District Board of Directors o Prepare and issue Notice of Award of Contract
