All proposals must meet the following minimum requirements. Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in disqualification from consideration. 3.1. Provide 6-inch pixel resolution digital color oblique aerial imagery that adequately covers Burke County. 3.2. Imagery will be of up to 40,000 improved parcels. 3.3. Firms will acquire color digital imagery during late winter/early spring (December – March) for “leaf off” images. The imagery shall be used to produce digital oblique aerial images suitable for use within various mapping application environments. 3.4. Imagery should be obtained when the sky is sufficiently clear; the ground is sufficiently free from snow, haze, standing water, smoke, dust, and cloud shadows; rivers and streams are within their normal banks, and deciduous trees are sufficiently barren to permit the intended uses of the imagery. Spectral reflectance from water should be minimized and should not obscure shoreline features. Special care is to be taken to minimize shadows throughout the project area. 3.5. Provided imagery must integrate with NCPTS-Farragut tax software. 3.6. Provided services to include comparison of County property sketches of improved parcels with provided imagery to detect any possible differences.
