The City of Duluth seeks to consolidate four aging and undersized maintenance facilities that house multiple City divisions and a variety of vehicles and tools into one centrally located maintenance facility. These divisions include Property & Facilities Management, Park Maintenance, Fleet Services, Street Maintenance, Radio Shop and Signal Operations. This predesign phase will analyze the current and anticipated space and equipment needs of these City of Duluth maintenance/construction divisions; identify and determine systems or opportunities for collective use of indoor office space, equipment, storage, yard/resource/materials stockpiles, and auxiliary features such as vehicle wash stations, gas stations, etc.
