This Contract shall consist of work performed on Mount Hope Bridge. The work to be performed includes installing rubberized asphalt chip seal and pavement markings on the northbound and southbound lanes of the bridge deck, from abutment to abutment, as outlined in the Contract Drawings and the Contract Specifications. Work to be performed includes installing chip seal at night in the northbound lane followed by chip seal installation the following night in the southbound lane. Within 48 hours of completion of chip seal installation operations across both northbound and southbound lanes, conduct postpavement sweeping of the paved surface and install temporary pavement markings. After 30 days, conduct post-pavement sweeping of the northbound/southbound paved surface, and install final pavement markings.
