The Department is responsible for infrastructure operation, maintenance, evaluation, rehabilitation, and improvement of the sanitary sewer system throughout the City of Durham. The selected consultant will assist the Department in this mission by providing services for four lift station upgrades. The following stations are currently identified as needing upgrades: • Treyburn 2 (located at 4035 Old Oxford Highway; Durham, NC) • Lick Creek (located at 623 Stallings Rd; Durham, NC) • Snow Hill (located at 2525 Snow Hill Dr, Durham, NC) • Falconbridge (located at 6732 Glen Forest Rd; Durham, NC); The major work at Treyburn 2 consists of but is not limited to submersible pump conversion, drainage improvements, electrical upgrades, and grinder-system installation. The major work at Lick Creek consists of but is not limited to removing the old generator pad, HVAC evaluation and forced air ventilation to grinder room. This site will be an early out design. The major work at Snow Hill consists of but is not limited to weather cover over chemical feed pump system, plumbing, replacing chemical storage tank. The major work at Falconbridge consists of but is not limited to electrical evaluation and upgrades including replacing existing electrical and adding new electrical panels and weather cover. This site will be an early out design and the highest priority.
