The Exam gloves must meet or exceed the following Specifications. • Certifiable NFPA 1999 2018 ed. quality control standards o Viral penetration tests o Minimum dexterity o Protein levels within the glove material o Puncture, cut and abrasion resistance o Material integrity after contact with normal cleaning solvents such as bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and isopropyl alcohol. • Certifiable ASTM D6319 quality control standards o Sterility o Freedom from holes o Talc-free o Dimensions and thickness measured and recorded in millimeters o Tensile strength and ultimate elongation after aging or exposure to a temperature of 70 degrees Celsius for 166 hours • Certifiable ASTM D5151 quality control standards o Hole detection testing • Certifiable ASTM D6978-05 quality control standards o Permeation by chemotherapy drugs
