The City will be installing 70 FCS throughout the City during Fiscal Year 2023-2024 in order to achieve a compliance milestone and to demonstrate progress towards 100 percent compliance with the Trash Amendments by 2030. The successful Contractor may be requested to install any number of devices. The City desires to receive a separate line item price for each catch basin insert by location in order to ensure that adequate funds are available. The City is desiring that each Contractor provide a design-build-install-warranty approach to each site. The City is requesting a lump sum price for each basin. The Contractor shall be responsible for making any necessary field measurements of each location in order to confirm dimensions and design/engineer the product to fit the specific location. Contractor shall provide all tools, materials and equipment in order to complete the installation. Any city infrastructure which may be removed must be replaced in like style, grade and condition so as to return the installation site to a pre-construction basis. Any damage to infrastructure caused by the Contractor shall be repaired at Contractor’s costs. Contractor shall begin installation of the devices 30-days from notice to proceed. In accordance with the Trash Provisions, all trash treatment control devices shall meet the FCS definition and be certified by the State Water Resources Control Board Executive Director, or designee, prior to installation.
