Insecticides will be properly mixed according to label directions and will be applied according to any and all legal requirements or restrictions. Information regarding application and contractor’s knowledge of the law in the state of Alabama is to be included. MSDS on all insecticides to be used will be provided to the THA. Control of cockroaches, rats, ants, spiders, silverfish and other pests will be required, including inspection, identification and treatment to eliminate infestation, and to prevent future infestation. Pest control will be achieved with the utmost regard for resident safety at all times. Treatments will include, but not be limited to, the following areas: Cracks and crevices at baseboards, door and window casings Those spaces between furniture/appliances and walls Behind sinks and lavatories Inside cabinets, false bottom cabinets, along the tops of wall cabinets Inside all closets (including furnace room) Cracks and crevices around all exposed pipes and heating ducts. The immediate perimeter surrounding the exterior of each building to include ant bed/infestations. Exterior ant beds in the immediate proximity of any unit and common area (example playgrounds, basketball courts).
