This grant program is for eligible school districts to seek technical assistance related to initiating and planning for electric school bus adoption such as: developing plans to transition to electric school buses or assess their readiness to do so; seeking project coordination assistance in communicating with utility and transportation providers; as well as preparing applications for Federal school bus electrification opportunities. Activities funded under this grant award may include: • Activities related to planning including, but not limited to, a needs assessment, identifying a scope of work, and resource identification. • Developing plans to transition to electric school buses including, but not limited to, an electrification readiness plan, electric infrastructure planning, and whether to acquire a diesel bus to convert to electric or an electric bus. • Project coordination and management, including coordinating communication related to the electric school buses themselves and/or the related infrastructure needed to support electric school bus deployment among stakeholders such as the electric utility and a transportation provider. • Activities to assist in the preparation of a federal grant application
