General Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, bonding and insurance, and supervision necessary to perform the removal and replacement of the four (4) existing, failing HVAC systems for the current conditioned space in the Thicket Chapel Building. Contractor shall take care not to damage any aspect of this building or its contents. Contractor shall remove refrigerant, existing split system, thermostat, and refrigerant and condensate piping and any related debris from premises to be disposed of properly in accordance with current laws and regulations, either recycled or in an approved landfill. Contractor shall install a “Like for Like” replacement of the failed existing systems with a completely functional new system. Existing split systems consist of the air handlers located in service areas and the condenser units’ pad-mounted outside of buildings. Existing system components are listed out in the Technical Specifications included in this solicitation’s bid documents.
