The work of this Contract consists of the rehabilitation of existing sewer lines through open excavation, removal/disposal of the existing pipe and replacement of the altered line including adjacent appurtenances. The contract is a term service agreement which consists of a list of unit prices to be used in the first two years and an extension for five years if mutually agreeable or, in case of disagreement, a new contract to be made available for bidding. Every year WPCA will issue a list of sewer lines to be reconstructed through pipe replacement. Emergency afterhours work may be included in this contract. The yearly contract value is anticipated to average $400,000/yr. The work of this contract is located in the City of Bridgeport.
