Chassis: Specification is based on Autocar ACX64 chassis, providing right-side dedicate drive, as outlined in Attachment A. The specifications as outlined in Attachment A are intended to serve as a base specification; functionally equivalent equipment will be considered. The City shall be the sole judge in determining functional acceptability of equipment, based on its ability to meet the operational needs of the City. Vehicle shall include, as part of the base bid, a Wireless Camera System as outlined in Attachment B. System shall provide for split monitor viewing capability. Vehicle shall include Jake Brake System as part of the base bid. Vehicle shall include, as part of the base bid, Rear Amber Alternating Flashing LED Lights on front and rear of body. Body: The body shall be a dedicated automated side loader type with: An automated arm on the curb side with the auto features that has a reach ranging from 0' (side of truck) to 12' (minimum allowable value of maximum reach limit). Arm assembly shall include electronic actuators as well as position sensor. No loose hoses, cables, or conduits shall be within 12” from above grab assembly. Body shall include an allowance of $500.00 for provision of two (2) decals per side of the body. Wording and graphics for signs will be determined by the City at a later date, with installation made prior to receipt of vehicle by the City. At minimum, the rails, packer and floor must be constructed of Hardox material. The body specification is based on a Labrie dedicated automated side loader body that meets the specifications outlined in Attachment B, inclusive of a 5-year manufacturer-issued warranty including all repair, parts, and labor for all components of the body including
