The Scope of Work includes constructing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Gerald Ford Drive and Rembrandt Parkway utilizing City furnished traffic signal equipment as listed in the specs. The selected contractor will be responsible for implementing the design plans, and specifications developed by the engineering consultant and responsible for furnishing all related equipment that are not furnished by the City. The work will include installing a new traffic signal complete with signal cabinet, coordinating with utility companies, obtaining all necessary permits, managing right-of-way impacts, and ensuring compliance with CA MUTCD standards. The contractor will need to handle all aspects of construction, from site preparation to final installation, and will be expected to assist with any required adjustments based on design specifications and timing sheets.
