A. Contractor shall provide temporary/relief healthcare staffing services through qualified staff (hereafter, “Contractor’s Workers”) to the DSH as required by this Agreement. Services under this Agreement shall be used to temporarily fill vacancies, to substitute for full-time DSH employees while on extended leave, to provide temporary services when appropriate staffing levels cannot be maintained with civil service staff, and/or to provide services when the requested services are not available within state civil service. B. Services under this Agreement shall be used to temporarily fill vacancies at DSH. This Agreement shall be used only when all other staffing means have been exhausted including, but not limited to, civil service eligibility lists as well as the use of other related Agreements. DSH makes no representation as to the minimum amount of services required under this Agreement. C. Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude individual temporary staff from seeking permanent civil service employment.
