The City’s Parks and Recreation Department, Athletics Section provides a variety of sport programs for youth and adults from all over the city and these programs encompass approximately 1,800 separate games over the course of the year or a complete sport season. Games will be held primarily in the evening and throughout the week inclusive of some Saturday and Sunday games as determined by the Athletics Section. At the end of each regular season multiple games are held for tournaments. A list of the current locations for the Sporting Events is located under the “attachments” tab on the e-procurement site. Locations are subject to change based on program needs. The requested services shall include but not be limited to providing a variety of officials for various sports offered by the Parks and Recreation Department. The contractor(s) will be responsible for booking Sport Officials for one or more of the following programs: Youth Tackle Football, Youth and Adult Basketball, Youth Baseball, Adult Softball and Adult Kickball. The Contractor will also be responsible for scheduling and providing training for all officials for the sport program(s) they are awarded.
