7. Detailed Scope of Work A. Per Attachment 2 – CAL FIRE Retainer, Southern Region Map, the selected firm(s) shall provide design plans and specifications, field assessments, and general consulting services, submit construction documents to the required Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), gain plan approval and all required permits, and be available for on-call construction administration, for the following areas of focus, but not necessarily be limited to: 1) Civil land development and site improvements. 2) Grading, drainage, and rigid/flexible paving. 3) Above ground fueling systems for both aircraft and vehicles. 4) Surveying. 5) Potable water projects (e.g., well design, storage, and treatment). 6) Fire water projects (storage, fire pumps, conveyance, etc.). 7) Onsite wastewater treatment and disposal. 8) Geotechnical services and field testing to support design and construction. 9) Retaining walls. 10) Cost estimating. 11) Regulatory consultation. 12) Proposed project review with code analysis for project scoping and planning. 13) Site access compliance. B. All design work shall be performed and approved by a registered architect or engineer licensed in the State of California. Consultant type work will require participation of multiple professional disciplines such as, but not limited to, architectural, electrical, mechanical, transportation (vehicle and aircraft), site civil, survey, structural, geological, geotechnical, and fire suppression.
