The Consultant shall be responsible for but not limited to the following: a. Provide design, design services during bid and award, design support services during construction, utility conflict resolution, and plan approvals for construction permits; b. Design the Project to meet all required elements and goals. All relevant information can be found in the Appendices; c. Perform potholing as necessary to identify potential utility conflicts and resolve as necessary; d. Identify all existing street, driveway, parkway, etc. components that will be impacted during the construction of the Project and include the restoration of those components in the Project design; e. Identify and obtain all leases, easements, rights-of-way, maintenance agreements, and other permits and approvals required for construction from regulating agencies, utility companies, residents, property owners, and businesses; f. Perform utility investigations and coordination during the entire contract duration as appropriate to facilitate the Project. This shall include contacting utility companies, preparation of utility relocation plans, payment of fees, and coordinating with utility companies to schedule relocation work to facilitate construction of the Project.
