The Karuk Tribe is seeking Architectural, Engineering, and Design services, construction cost estimates, plans, and other documents for the renovation of the Frontier Building. The Design will consist of renovating three stories. First story, two bathrooms, Emergency Operations Center, and commercial kitchen. Second-story, barracks-style housing, including laundry area. Third story, common area with remodeled kitchen, including two offices. Heating and cooling are to be included, and appropriate entry and exit are to be designed for each floor, with security systems. Upgrades to plumbing and electrical systems shall be a part of the project. The property is not located on tribal trust land and county permitting is required.
